Oats are a good source of protein and fibre, which both help to make you feel fuller for longer. As they release energy slowly, they can help to avoid dips in your blood sugar – making you less likely to snack.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes

  • 150ml Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp frozen berries
  • 1 tbsp nut butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Nectarines, to serve

  1. Mix the Greek yogurt with the chia seeds, oats and milk in a jar with a lid. Stir in 2 tbsp frozen berries.
  2. Top with the nut butter, honey and another 2 tbsp frozen berries.
  3. Screw the lid on and leave in the fridge overnight – the oats will soften as they soak up the liquid and the fruit will thaw and ooze into the oats. Add nectarines to serve.

Chef’s tip: Make a batch of Ocado’s overnight chia oat parfait for breakfast to see you through the week. The mixture will keep in the fridge for three days.
