Oat, honey & almond protein balls
Protein balls are an excellent snack to have after exercising as the oats and honey replace glycogen stores, whilst the nut butter provides much needed protein to support muscle repair.
- 340g oats
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp creamed coconut
- 3 tbsp honey
- 75g almond/peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 75g dark chocolate chips
Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl before rolling into small balls. Pop them on a baking tray covered with greaseproof paper. Chill for at least 2 hourrs before serving.
