Get your sweet fix from these banana yogurt pots with sticky date caramel. Dates are perfect for a hit of unrefined natural sweetness – they’re great for on-the-go energy or served as a healthier dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 250g dates, chopped and pitted
  • 100g pecans, roughly chopped
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 450g Greek yogurt

Method:

  1. Whizz the dates in a blender with 150ml water until they form a paste. If you’re using dried dates, soak them in hot water for a few minutes first.
  2. Take 4 small glasses and, in each one, layer a sprinkle of pecans, 1 tsp of the date caramel, a few banana slices and 2 tbsp Greek yogurt. Repeat until the glasses are nearly full, then top with any leftover pecans, banana and caramel.
